What is included in my ticket price?
Tickets bought in The Copeland Distillery Visitor Centre or online are priced at £22.50. The ticket includes the tour of our site and a chance to sample our portfolio of gins, rums and whiskey from the heart of our distillery, the production floor.
Learn about the history of The Copeland Islands and Donaghadee’s first working distillery.
- Taste our award-winning gin and learn about the botanicals used in their production
- Tour the distillery where you will learn about our unique processes of spirit making and enjoy a couple of samples.
- Finish in The Copeland Distillery Visitor Centre and enjoy a great cocktail whilst browsing our bottles & merchandise.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Due to licencing laws, the tours are only open to adults aged 18 years and older. We hope you understand.
What can I bring into the event?
As The Copeland Distillery is a fully working distillery, space can sometimes be tight. Please make us aware if you are travelling and may need to have any luggage/bags stored. Please do not bring any food or drink into The Copeland Distillery. Unfortunately, our Distillery Tours are not dog-friendly.
Disabled Access
Due to the age of the building, accessibility is limited but we will always endeavour to accommodate those with mobility issues. Please contact us directly on tours@copelanddistillery.com to discuss your requirements prior to booking.
Copeland Distillery
Situated just 20 miles from Belfast, directly opposite The Copeland Islands, is where you will find The Copeland Distillery.
The Copeland Distillery will take you on a journey through the decades of events that led us to the creation of our spirits. Shaped by the tales of smugglers and savage ocean battles you will experience history unfold, all whilst enjoying a sample of our portfolio of spirits.
Learn all about our locally foraged botanicals, our unique distillation processes and take in the picturesque views of The Copeland Islands and the surrounding area of Donaghadee

By purchasing tickets you are in agreement to our Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse entry.
No dogs permitted onsite during tours.
As this is a working Distillery there may be times that due to maintenance some areas may be excluded from the tour for health and safety reasons.
We would ask that you please turn your phone on silent, however please take as many photos and videos, create as many Instagram stories as you like, just please make sure to tag us.
Parking is free onsite – unfortunately we are unable to facilitate overnight parking.
In the interest of Health & Safety the Distillery operates a NO SMOKING policy on site, both inside and outside buildings. Visitors who wish to smoke are required to go to the marked area.
Our distillery tours have a minimum age requirement of 18.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times when on site.
Sensible footwear is also recommended when partaking in our tour.
Occasionally the Distillery may have to close without prior notice
It is essential for guests to arrive 15 minutes prior to the agreed booking time. As the distillery only operate a small number of tours it may not be possible to move to an alternative time.
